P. Must all bookings be made in advance?
We recommend you book in advance because once you book a vehicle, we guarantee its availability. Last-minute reservations are also taken into consideration, provided that a specific vehicle is available.
P. What type of vehicles can I choose?
You can choose Standard vehicle (3 passengers), Premium vehicle (3 passengers), Standard minibus (8 passengers) and Premium minibus (7 passengers).
P. How do I find the driver?
The driver will come for you to the agreed destination. If the transfer involves departure from the airport, the driver will wait for you with a sign showing your name.
P. How long will my transfer take?
The specified time is the standard travel time during normal days. Dates may vary with the season, when there is more traffic on the roads, or because of road works that directly affect travel. You will be notified if there is any anticipated delay during your trip.
P. Why is it better to rent your transfer than a regular taxi?
Our company offers passenger transfer services at fixed rates, which means that you will know your travel costs in advance, and the transfer price does not depend on route conditions and road conditions. In addition to affordable and fixed rates, here are some additional reasons why traveling with us is your best bet:
- there is no additional cost of parking and car parking at the airports
- there is no stress about looking for transportation and long trip
- there are no stops several times to reach a certain destination
- there is no arguing over who will be the sober driver
P. What if my flight is late?
Your driver will be informed at all times of your flight details and will be there to pick you up on time.
P. Will I be charged extra if the driver waits for a flight delay?
If your flight is delayed, the driver will be informed of the new schedule and will wait for you as mentioned before. No extra waiting will be charged.
P. How do I know my booking request has been received?
After you make a booking request, you will receive a message stating that your reservation is in the processing phase and you will be notified of the status of your reservation upon completion. Processing can take up to 12 hours (an average of two hours). Reservation is confirmed only after you have received a booking confirmation at your e-mail address.
P. Will I be charged extra if I have a lot of luggage?
We do not charge extra for passenger luggage and the driver will help you pack it.
P. Can I also book a trip with OptimaTransfer in addition to the transfer?
OptimaTransfer also offers excursions and tours throughout Europe with taxi transfers. Tours can be organized with the driver, or with a guide. Tours can be fixed, or to your liking.
P. Do you allow smoking in a taxi during the transfer?
No, smoking is not allowed during the transfer.
P. Is OptimaTransfer transportation direct, or does it stop along the way?
OptimaTransfer's shuttle service operates on a door-to-door basis, driving you directly to your destination, unless otherwise agreed.
P. Can I bring pets into the vehicle?
It is possible to provide transportation for your pet, but only if it is conveniently located in your passenger box.
P. Can I change my itinerary and / or personal information after making my booking?
In case of change of your itinerary or personal information, please contact us by phone +385 98 414 959, or e-mail info@optimatransfer.com to find the right vehicle and update your itinerary. All changes must be submitted at least 24 hours before your transfer. If route changes are possible, they will be valid after being confirmed by our booking team. Prices and length of travel are subject to change as you change your starting point and / or destination.
P. Can I cancel my reservation?
If you would like to cancel your reservation, please follow the instructions given in the confirmation email. OptimaTransfer refunds timely transfers.
The following rules apply when canceling a booking:
- 100% refund (Cancellation standard made at least 48 hours before transfer)
- 100% refund (Premium cancellations made at least 24 hours before transfer)
- 50% refund (Cancellation standard made within 48 hours before transfer)
- 50% refund (Premium cancellations made within 24 hours before transfer)
- 0% refund (non-appearance)
P. When am I sure my reservation is canceled?
After the cancellation request you will receive a confirmation of the cancellation by e-mail. If you do not receive a cancellation confirmation in due time, check your Spam folder.
P. How can I pay for my transfer?
Payment of the transfer depends on the conditions stated at the time of booking. Payment information can be found here.
P. What does the fare include?
One-way price includes one transfer from the point of departure to the destination. The return price (round trip; two-way transportation) also includes transfer from the destination back to the departure point. The price also includes highway tolls, vignettes, tunnels, bridge tolls, fuel costs and vehicle depreciation.
If your transfer includes transportation to one of the islands, the cost does not include ferry transportation.
P. Are the transfer rates per person, or per vehicle?
Transfer rates are always per vehicle, not per person. The type of vehicle is determined by the number of passengers.
P. What are your drivers' references?
All of our drivers are licensed professionals with years of experience in passenger transportation and will be prepared for your transfer with a fixed itinerary.
P. Is it included in the price of transfers and tips for the driver?
No. If you want to tip the driver, we leave it to you completely.
P. When will I receive a bill for a paid service?
After the full payment, we will send you a bill for the transfer service to your e-mail address.
P. I made a booking request but did not receive a confirmation. What should I do?
Please fill in your e-mail address when submitting your reservation to receive your booking confirmation. If you do not receive the booking confirmation, check the spam folder. If the confirmation is not there, please contact us.
P. Do you also provide transfers for people with disabilities?
Yes, we provide transfers for people with disabilities, but please mention this information when booking so that we can prepare an adequate vehicle on time.
P. What if my transfer involves a child, or children?
Children under 12 years of age should not travel without parental supervision. Children between the ages of 12 and 18 must have the written permission of their parents. If your transfer includes a child seat, please provide this information when booking.
P. What kind of insurance do I have during transit?
You and your luggage are insured during transportation with OptimaTransfer, but we definitely recommend additional travel insurance.
